Willow Sprins Raceway BIG TRACK
First time at Willow Springs and went to the BIG TRACK...ahhh yeaa. Have to say it was the best driving experience ever. It was amazing and thanks to Alpine Motorsports. Lots of nice cars and one other 1'er who's identity will remain unnamed for now unless he's ok with it. I was extremely impressed with how the car handled..and the DTC, while not your friend at the quartermile was my best companion on the track...only intervening when i would otherwise have lost control..but not too often. Track was really awesome because you can really open the car up and test the limits of your car and yourself.

Nice pics! Willowsprings is a really fun track... You should try Buttonwillow or Streets of Willow next. You'll be addicted.

Nice pics. I was at Willow on Sat/Sun and had a blast...so did my RFTs. 2000 miles on my car and the wheels look like they've got 30k on them already. Lots of BMWs but no other 1ers Did you do timing? I don't see a transponder on the front of your car but maybe you mounted it on the back as I saw a few other people do. Curious to see how my lap times match up with other relatively stock 135s.

Motul RF660 it is...oh and i'm thinking about going to Hawk HP Plus pads..anyone have an opinion..i need them for regular daily + occassional track use...the brakes held up decently but after a while they started getting mushy.
