The problem with leaving the AP connected is that it will constantly draw power when the car isn't on. If you want disconnect it every time you stop the car for an extended period of time, then the left vent area seems to be a popular spot and the OBDII cable doesn't need to cross the footwell. A lot of people use a universal cell phone holder that has a width adjustment.

+1 for the glovebox. Unless you are on the track, there is very little use it Day to day. Just looks tacky IMHO. If you absolutely need to see your boost levels, check out the P3 vent gauge. Subtle look, and all the features you could ever want, plus some
