135i vs M3
Well, my previous thread on this was asking who would win between my buddies 2009 M3 6MT and my 2011 135i DCT. Unfortunately that thread was closed and locked due to the fact I was putting to much personal information in the thread. Now, I finally got with my buddy and we drove down to Mexico and did one quick run. Here it is:
There will be more to come on this. It really was a close call and he got the jump. We are going to make a weekend trip to Mexico and do some better pulls to really get an annalist on my car versus his. |

I have suspicion that there is an ETS front mount inter-cooler on my car. I noticed there is ETS couplings on the charge pipe and it made me curious. I haven't got underneath the car to inspect. Other than that there are no mods. The M3 is also stock.

M3 is stock. I believe my car has an ETS front mount inter-cooler. I haven't confirmed that yet. I haven't had the car very long and I'm the second owner. There isn't any other mods on my car though. Last time I had it at the BMW dealer I had them do a software up date and asked my SA to make sure there was no tune or piggy back systems or anything. I don't want to have any issues with warranty. So other than a FMIC(maybe) both stock.

Yeah, the dct does make a difference. From everything I have read it's really anybodies race, depending on the race you're doing. Each car has it's strong points that would win over the other. That's just from what I've gathered though. It's still an M3 though.
