The 'fit' or 'Jazz' has been around for 3 or so years in Australia.

that is cool. Unfortunately you are in Canada, otherwise you can join our FIT meet next month. I did not have the sport muffler, i just added the chrome exhaust finisher. To be honest, i wouldnt buy the finisher if i can make the decision again because i can hardly see the chrome tip after it is installed. lol. waste of money i think (although it is only $3x)

Yup, on the sticker, it stated 33/40. For the first tank of fuel i am doing around ~35MPG.

Not to spoil anyones fun...but like someone stated above...the fit or the Jazz as it is known on some markets has been around for 3+ yrs....and even though it is new to us it is at the end of its life cycle a Brand New Fit is coming out in 2007 as a 2008 model......I love to have the latest and I love that my E90 will stay the same for 6-7 yrs....to each his/her own but IMHO I would rather have the latest...I can wait Aprox 12 months for a car that will be so much ahead of the current ones...do a search on www.vtec.net to see what the '08 Fit will look like...much cleaner lines and even better MPG for the same money......

If anyone is thinking about getting one do some research and wait...for those of you who would rather purchase the E46 instead of the E90 I can understand how you would not care...but I am sure there are many like me that would not like just getting the new FIT and then in about 12 months a whole Brand new one is on the market...and the rumer is that it will even beavail as a hybrid with 60-70MPG

Thank You.

Yea, we know there will be a new fit coming out. But that is ok, we like the current one. At the end, it is just a 20K car, if the new model turns out to be so great, we can trade/sell this one and get that one. We love the MPG.

We got the car at MSRP. I believe MOST dealer now will not go lower than MSRP because the supply has not reached the demand yet (conclusion coming from the fact that out of the 6 dealership i deal with, MSRP is the lowest they will go). Whenever a dealer got FITs in, they will be gone less than a week (at least around LA and OC county in CA). From an unconfirmed source, the inovice price for a FIT in US is $15297, which is $673 cheaper than the MSRP. Yes, i know $6xx above invoice is a lot for a Honda (usually they will go at invoice or below invoice, i had a friend who have had $1000 below invoice for his pilot). But again, for $6xx extra, i am happy that i am one of the few (few i mean 2 ~ 3) that is driving a FIT around my area!!!

Here's our 2 Japan import Fits (GD1, MY2004-2005). Storm Silver color. The one on the left has replica (pre-facelift) Mugen front grill, front/rear spoilers, sideskirts and Modulo rear wing. The other is bone stock (my girl's dad's weekday ride).

Besides the 1.5 vtec, we also have the 1339cc non-vtec here. Slow as hell, but good interior space (golf bag fits in the back!) and great mileage. Between the 2 cars, we average about 15.5km/l (I think that's about 36-37 mpg).
