West Palm/ Boca Raton Area Caravan to Miami/ Key Biscayne and Lunch!

The more the merrier! Trying to start caravans every other weekend (on Sundays). We will either head north or south. Today we are heading South bound to Key Biscayne for some driving and footage, then somewhere in Miami for lunch. We will be taking rolling shots and, hopefully will have at least one bumper cam. We will also stop at a few locations to take advantage of the great photo opportunities! Please PM for details! Meeting time will be around 1-1:30PM! This is not exclusive to ///M's! Anyone with petrol running through their veins is welcome!

Although such short notice, we so far have:
- AW 1M - confirmed
- IB Hartage M3 - confirmed
- BSM 1M - confirmed
- VO 1M (maybe)

... Just picture all the bimmers, in all their different colors together riding in unison! I have been in one other caravan, of all bimmers, and there's just such an amazing feeling there IMO and there's no reason not to do them more often! I go on Sunday drives solo regardless, so I am always down to extend the drive and have others join!

We need to get more people on board! Whether it is this weekend or next weekend, we must get something together! One thing this will not become is a PITA! We want it to be something that is only looked forward too. Meeting place will be most likely be around the area of Yamato and I-95. Come on guys, spread the word! I thought there were more enthusiasts here!!

Awesome! Love that more are joining in! Due to Nurotag, we will not be having an official drive this weekend. I have entered my car but am 50/50 on going, personally. My car just feels incomplete to me, I have a vision and it has not been met as lame as that sounds. But let's figure next weekend is on! I'm truly ecstatic, can't wait for all of us to get together!

Actually, Sunday is March 3! There is a BMW cars and coffees meet the first Sunday of each month. Although we will attend these from time to time as a group, this time around we have opted to go to Miami/ South Beach for photos and lunch instead. And we are not trying to postpone this drive any further! We are all ecstatic and ready to get these weekly drives underway! A few of us have actually removed work from our Sunday schedules to be more involved in this, so this will not be a one time thing if you can not make it this time around! So far these cars are committed for this Sunday:

Me (Ridge) - BSM 1M
Cole - JB e92 M3 ZCP
James - AW F30 335 M Sport
Jake - AW 1M

50/50
Vic - IB Hartage stroker 4.6 M3

Please add yourself and update accordingly. A few committed cars will also be bringing non forum members, so there will be a few more cars and feel free to do the same! We certainly tried too! We all just have been very busy and it has been a real whore trying to get together. But either way, I am going next time with or W/ or W/O the rest of this crew. I am not missing out anymore

My buddy sent me some pictures of the R18 getting loaded on to the flatbed today after McNish crashed during practice. The car was up and running in less than three hours. Think about this the next time you have to drop you car off at the dealer for service.

Damn that's rough! I hope he's all good! Dropped off my car at the dealer yesterday for an alignment and got it back today

I am not going to make it up to Sebring unfortunately but I am going to watch it live! Still wish I was there though!

How did you blow yours? I blew mine months ago while pulling out of a deli. I was shifting really low around 1800-2k RPM and when I got up to third gear, I decided to do a long and low rpm pull. As the overboost came on all of a sudden, POP! Mine didn't pop off either, it actually broke at the base:
