Cracked windshiled :(

Hey guys I got my 1 like 3-4 month ago (got about 2500km),

I started my car yesterday in the cold (-15c) and put the ''defrost'' on front windshield, 5min later a large crack suddenly appear (nearly as large as the windshield...), and after I check it out, it was coming from a noticeable impact I didn't notice (prob 1-2 day old max)...

Is there anyway I got that covered by bmw, or should I call my insurance?

Thx a lot!!

Garage List
Leave it until spring...as you'll more than likely incur more road spray damage through winter...get a new windshield then.

Go ask BMW, if there is no sign of rock hit they will cover it under warranty. However it's very unlikely that it's the case, but it doesn't hurt to ask .

I had the same thing a month ago and they told me it had signs of rock damage, so my insurance covered it.

This is why you get glass insurance.
