It all depends on where you live too, in this area there are hardly any street lights and mostly just 2 lanes, so lights seem brighter. You should see all the new german cars, they all went to the LED strips( mercedes, Audi, VW, BMW) for added safety. If you are blinded easily do what I do, drive with shades at night |

the closest would prob be the LS1 kit. Alpine kit is too bright and the rings look uneven, the outer ring looks perfect but the inner ring always looks extremely bright. any regular LED bulb will be too dim during day time. Lux seem to be the best for regular style bulbs but its expensive for just a bulb

You'll have to contact BavX

I'd rather not go that route. It's not reversible and be aware, most consumers don't really care about the color of Angel Eyes.

I wish he had them side by side with the 1 series LUX bulbs (wishful thinking, I know). I'd love to see the comparison before ordering a new set of bulbs. I don't suppose you'd be willing to work out a trade in type program for the LUX 1 series bulbs would you?

No offense, but the LUX V3 isn't great at all in direct sun from a distance away either. If you look at that pic you just posted, it's cloudy out and it's right in front of the car. Take the same pic from a little further away and directly in front of the car on a SUNNY day and see what happens. I know 2 guys running them and they are not bright at all unless it's cloudy or dark out. Not trying to step on your toe's, but yeah. I'm not paying that much for LUX when I can get a cheaper alternative that does the same thing.

The picture i posted above is also taken at a strange angle, so it will be harder to see the true. I am working to get more pictures taken of the LUX H8 V3 compared to the stock bulb and other bulbs as well.

Another question..since the outer ring isnt gonna be very bright anyway, does the color of the xenon bulb blend in so to speak and in a sense change the color a little of the outside ring ? |

In my opinion from brightest to least...
HID > LS1 > LUX > Mtech/GP thunders (H8 Bulbs) I've seen them all I had the later 3 on my car before and now I ended up with the BAV LS1. Yes, it is a whole head light replacement, but that's the only way to go for uniform rings that you can see in the day and not over powering like the HID kits. For the simple solution just go with LUX, they are the brightest plug and play solution out there. If you're on a budget get the mtechs or gp thunders but dont expect too much, you'll look good at night though and if you're just a crazy mofo who wants to drive with just your angels on at night get the HIDs.
