I have just had a passenger side rear tail light strip do a flicker and stop working. It is a RHD 2010 123d built December 2010 and therefore still under warranty if the complete tail light needs to be replaced.
The dealer just tried to tell me (over the phone, admittedly) that it was just a matter of changing bulbs and to drop on by. Yes, he did pull up his computer details for this car which they have serviced since new. Because it is a 60km return drive, I don't want to get there and find 'Oh, we have to replace the tail light and it is not in stock'. So who is correct? From reading posts here, I believe the whole tail light will need replacing vs. 'we'll just change the bulbs'?

Dack: Once again I am in your debt ... Thank you. If it wasn't for the warranty, I'd order the Blackline LCI update tail lights through your link to eBay.de. Next time LOL.
