Alternative fuel set up

Hi guys, hopefully I can obtain some help with this subject as I'm getting conflicting information.

Basically my question which I need clarification on is.
From a oem car. (09 135i auto) what is needed in order to run e85 or methanol.

Do we need
Higher output Fuel pumps?
Injectors?
Fuel lines?
New ecu?

You'll need an upgraded low pressure fuel pump and port injection.

I'd suggest a Fuel-It Stage 2 or 3 lpfp and MOTIV port injection. You'll also then need a piggyback to handle the additional fueling.

Lot's of discussion of these issues on the N54 sites.

To run straight e85

You will need the following:

CP-E or motive port Injection
JB4 Piggy Back
New HPFP
New LPFP Stage 3 don't even waste your time with the stage 2
Possibly new DI injectors as e85 can be a biatch to old injectors
Custom Back end MHD flash

If I was starting again i would go stage 3 and pi asap.

Google a bit, you can run full e85 without spending much if you are on stock turbos and have the appropriate tune.

I agree with above posts once you have upgraded turbos, get new stuff.
