Where to go in Sydney for 135i tune advice/work?

Where can I go in Sydney to get help with my procede v5 and 135i in general?

I know Melbourne has SouthernBM but where can we go in Sydney?

I want to check that all is going ok with my car. And if there is anything that is causing loss of performance. Or any issues I'm unaware of because I've not been or driven another tuned 135i?

Also if you know hourly rates or whatever that would be good to.

Ummm, perhaps you should check out my thread.

IIRC Advan Performance in Auburn comes to mind.

Seriously though, you will not find a workshop in Sydney, dare I say Australia that has more experience with the tuning of 135i's or any N54/N55 for that matter.

Their hourly rate is $120 inclusive of GST.

If you have any other questions feel free to PM.

Cheers,

JD.

That seems like one of the best mod's for these things when you power up them.

It's funny, the aftermarket for BMW's have come along way in the last 3-4 years. Previously you had to get everything out of the US (if you could find it which you couldn't in 2005). Then if you could find it, it would cost a fortune. I remember when a R&P set for an M3 was like $1500.

Peter at Advan will more than look after you, the added bonus is you can have it run up on the dyno and get a baseline compared to some other 135s who have run on the same one.

Cool,

I hope you found the read to be informative.

If you hook up with Advan Performance, I am very confident you will not be disappointed.

With regards your tuning and installation needs, they can look after anything from the very mild to the totally wild.

Cheers,

JD.

For LSDs it's hard to go past ALS in Rydalmere as they have extensive knowledge of BMW drivetrains/driveshafts/differentials etc.

ALS is also recommended by SouthernBM as a place to get LSDs installed.

+1

And I'm sure Peter will look after you in the end due to the longer install time.

They are Melbourne based, Kenny used Fitzgerald Racing Services when he had his 911 so he could probably comment.

Mate why dont you go to the guy that quaife aus (Southern BM) recommend? its ALS performance...

Got my Quaife fitted in less than a day for <$400...

Not saying that Advan is bad. not at all just that ALS are actually very experienced with Quaife's.

Ian if you are not happy with Advan you can alway have the car flatbedded to another workshop and just pay Advan what you owe them to date.

You're never tied down to any workshop.

Ian's been around the BMW scene for a number of years, he'd have heard of ALS and the work they do. As he would have all the usual Sydney BMW performance shops
