Coors Light beats NAPA Autoparts every time. What you run against?

Thanks everyone. I am stoked. Talking to some friends of mine that are big into drag racing, they tell me that at 115mph I could be in the mid 11s. Not sure that I want to do that. At 11.49 there are all kinds of "safety modifications" that the IHRA requires.

IT is my preferred lane. The Mercury you see in front of me in the picture.

I've only put about a thousand miles on it so far. I also have the Alpina flash and my only concern is the Alpina flash in D. I don't recall if it seemed like it was slipping clutches before my original tranny went, or if I'm just paranoid about it now. I rarely drive in D anyway so it doesn't matter. In full manual mode it is great.

D mode absolutely had a bit of an odd feel, I believe it allows for a fair amount of slip for smoother shifts under modest load. Either way, once oil temps get over 180 or it goes to M or S.

For some reason I was under the impression you had a 6MT

Nah I wish. The E9x is 6MT but that car is staying stock. I wanted a vert 1er badly for some stupid reason, and good luck finding those in the color combo I wanted + 6MT. 6AT has held up fine though, seems to do OK with the Alpina flash at RB type levels.
