DF Concours towels, if you want to go 100% cotton MF towels... I think Zaino exclusively approves them as well.

I'm very surprised you didn't use any clay first. Every one I've carefully felt needed it. I haven't Zaino'd mine yet, but it really needs the clay badly.

Here's the link for the towels...

I had some swirls when I took delivery, courtesy of the prep at either the VPC or Performance Center.

I did clay mine right off the bat and it made a definite difference for a consistently smooth surface.

I zaino'd mine as well with Z2 (no Z5 on-hand this time) and I managed to created some light scratches of my own. I think my oldish towels were slightly abrasive here & there. The light has to be right to see the scratches, but they're there.

When I zaino it again in 5 or 6 months, I'll use Z5 and some dedicated detailing towels to see what I can do to eliminate the swirls and scratches. Thanks for the heads-up on DF Concours, TagMan. :w00t:

In the meantime, it looks pretty damn good, subtle issues & all.

You're very welcome.

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your presentation. I read and watched every bit of it... wanting more at the end.

looks good, I thought about buying some of that but the process looks like it would take to long for my laziness.

PS> looks like you have a butterfly behind the grill
