Maybe I'm asking it wrong. The OP is wanting to have the look that the newer BMWs come with OEM from the factory, like the pic below:

So why not buy it from BMW directly and have the exact OEM look since that's what the OP wanted to replicate?

That's for the 3 series, don't think is going to work with the 1M

There's a previous thread, where I talk about using all weather vecro on the inside of the casing around the lights. Works great! I can't talk up the Lux enough. They are a wonderful cosmetic mod, and I've received several compliments on them. They look especially good on AW/BSM. On the VO, I almost like the stock, slightly duller hue.

Yeah, the 1 Series' LCI didn't include the new Halos since the F20/F22 was just around the corner. And IIRC it's more than a simple bulb replacement.

Thanks!
I attempted to set up a GB. LUX basically told me they dont need to do a GB to sell these things (they already sell well) so they wont. Their retailers say there is no margin in the thing to do a GB, the break they offered priced them above what LUX sells them for on their site.

You do realize you posted your same pics again? Repost of your own post, in the same thread? That's a first!

It's definitely a tight fit. I think the key is the covers go in easier if you turn them just a bit. They don't go straight in. Whatever you do, make sure the two pegs on the bottom of the covers are in place otherwise you will have moisture problems like a few had after install.

No but I can take some. Most people want daytime with DIRECT sunlight to really show actual brightness. Too many other vendors will do shots in the shade, cloudy days, indoors(the shop) etc. because they just aren't as bright in direct sunlight.
