Rarely Seen-Alpine White 1 M Coupe Real Life Pic's (All 3 colors together)

A few shots of the new 1 M Coupe. My guess is that all of these cars are headed to Press Drives next week ( All have New Jersey BMWNA Tags). The fact the cars are on a hauler make for some interesting angles...not seen in most of the Press "Beauty Shots". Thanks and enjoy. PalBay

Oh cool, same truck of 1Ms my bro spotted on this thread...I guess they originated from Spartanburg now on their way to Jersey.

In my thread, they were spotted in Allentown, PA.

Just out of simple curiosity. Does the driver have access to the keys or are the cars parked onto the racks and then the keys are given to a third party to ensure theft doesn't happen...

I'm pretty certain the driver has keys, only because I once saw a truck/trailer rig on fire in Kentucky (small fire) and the driver was unloading cars from the trailer. Pretty tempting that's for sure!

That's what I thought. Just thought it would be safer to have the keys with a 3rd party so that the driver or anyone else couldn't even move them! Sorry for going OT!

Why don't they have covers protecting the bumpers, etc. from bugs and road debris? Does BMW just expect them to get thrashed by reporters anyways?

Damn! Those look nice!
Isn't it quite a risk letting that white BMW hang on front there, what if the trailer crash or drives on a big bump?

the safest travel they will ever have is on that truck. away from stone chips on the bumper and hood, parking lot door dents, and a safe experienced truck driver. and the trailer has air suspension so it'll handle much bigger bumps than those 19" rims ever could.

I don't understand why they won't do a covered transport...

you don't understand? surely you jest..

price the difference between enclosed and not enclosed shipping and you'll soon know why it is not a covered transport. As someone previously mentioned, the open trailer already protects from most issues, only rain (not really an issue as the cars will be prepped at the dealer) and hail are a concern.

personally, I think the cost/benefit of an enclosed transport for a new car is pretty low. Not to mention there are only a few companies that specialize in enclosed transport... Waggoner's and Horseless carriage come to mind..

+1

All BMW's in my area use Covered Transports to the dealers. Seems strange this isn't the same for all BMW dealer deliveries.

Nice find on this truck load!!
