OK today was much better. Spotted a blue BMW M5 on Macquarie St this afternoon, and then an hour or so later a silver Audi R8 on Gladstone St ... both in Hobart again. NICE! No 1ers yet, but I'm hoping to catch up with cargeek and his 135i vert sometime while I'm down here.

Guran, obviously quite a number of cars touring Tassie at the moment then? After watching oz topgear when they drove there, have been thinking of doing same. When you get back, can you suggest places to see, ie. road tours?

Sadly I'm not one of them. Our 135 is locked away at home and we're getting around Tassie in a rented X-Trail. Not the sharpest tool in the shed! But previous visits have shown that it's pretty hard to go wrong finding a good road down here. I'm sure cargeek or d3syd could suggest some great drive routes.

Hi Bryan, hope the holiday is going well? I thought the same thing when I saw a 427 in Bathurst a few months back. If you've got to have one, what's wrong with the clubbie? You could use the rest on fuel and rear tyres!!

Most seem to think it'll make a great investment. Funny thing is that I heard Redbook are predicting a resale of something like 50-60% after 3 years. Not much of an investment, although I guess that's better than losing 50% in a few months like we've had on the stock market recently!

Not a 1er - But spotted an M3 sedan today at Southbank BMW dealership...reg. 'E90M3' not sure if it belonged to the dealership or private owner, looked good in silver duco, but personally think the coupe M3 looks alot better :smile:

Plate ended in 555 or something, looked to have aftermarket wheels. Nonetheless looking good!

Perhaps coincidental, a Black M3 E92 not far behind it, but turning onto Market Street. Not bad either...
