Fuel System Cleaners

Has anyone here used a fuel system cleaner yet? If so, what would you recommend? I used to use the STP full system cleaner every 6 months or so in my old 318.

Does BMW sell their own fuel system cleaner?

There was some talk awhile back about these, but I don't remember the thread - or how long ago it appeared. I use Chevron's Techron about every 3,000 miles. To be honest with you I don't know how beneficial (or how bad ; -) it is.

Surely someone else has a couple of cents to throw in here.

Ah, cool thanks. Has anyone been regularly using this fuel cleaner? I guess I'll stop by the dealer and pay the $3 premium.

I don't know how beneficial they are, but I have always used them in my cars and never had any pings, knocks or hesitation in acceleration. I just realized that I haven't used a fuel cleaner since I got my car a year ago. It's well overdue!
