Driver side window wont come up
Hi All,
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I got into my car just then and started it and my driver side window just went down by itself and wont come back up. I tried everything and it wont come up. What are my options? Located in Perth so might have to bring it to ramp or something. Vic. |

Sounds like the window regulator needs replacing. Since it still makes a noise when you try to switch it up means it's not the motor. It's a commonly seen on the forums.

Don't ever go to BMW of Dayton OH. They charged me $670 out the door. Price for part was comparable to other dealers but they charged me an extra hour of labor over all the other dealers.

yeah got quoted $356 for just the regulator. Good thing this happened in winter..... I want to get it online but not sure if waiting 2+ weeks shipping is worth running a plastic bag on the window for that long haha!
