GOT MY CAR!

Went to the dealership and nearly dropped a tear as I saw her shimmering in the sunlight. Got in, fired her up and took her a nice long drive through the twisties. Everything was perfect...she drives like a dream...

Then I woke up and realized it really was a dream...

Shoot me now...

Argh, isn't this a killer? I'm the same way. I waited 6 months for my first mini in 2002 and drove myself mad waiting. It's part of the fun though, it's like begging a beautiful woman to go out on a date for three months before she says yes

The wait is killing me as well! I've wanted this car for like a year now. Then I placed a deposit, but backed out. Then a couple months later I placed an order, but backed out of that because they wouldn't budge below MSRP. A week later I had placed my final order. Then I had to wait 2 months for Euro Delivery. Now I have to wait another 2 months from dropping it off, until PCD.

Can't I just go in to a coma for a couple weeks?

It's like waiting for Christmas times a thousand!

You could always do like Eric Cartman and cryogenically freeze yourself to pass the time... But then you might wake up 500 years in the future in a world controlled by warring factions of atheists where cars don't even exist anymore... :biggrin:

I dropped mine off in Munich from ED on May 23rd. Looks like it will arrive here July 7/8. A bit sooner than I expected given it has to go to the west coast. Another few weeks..

Do you know which boat you were on? If our cars were on the same boat, I imagine I would see my car around that same time.
