Akra Evo w/ Remote Rattle?

Hey guys,

Anyone with an AK Evolution and the wireless system. Do you guys experience rattling from the remote valve when you start up? I get some nasty sounding rattle in the morning and it doesn't go away until vacuum builds.

Also, when opening and closing the valve, it takes about 20 seconds before the valve is fully closed and during that time, the valve rattles a bit.

Is this all normal? The remote valve is essentially like a wastegate flapper... Wastegates don't rattle. Is my WG arm too loose and allowing the flap to rattle?

The rattling is perfectly normal, do a search on this subforum and there are a few videos on it.

However it shouldn't take 20 secs! No where near in fact.

I tried searching, but nothing came up... I'll try to dig deeper.

At idle, how long does it take to close the valve? Mine takes forever to close. We assumed there might not be enough vacuum at idle to operate it quickly?

Edit: Whoops, I found it. Just needed to search for 'rattle'. I had "Akrapovic rattle" before.

Here is one I had in mind:

It really shouldn't take long to close, mine is maybe 5 secs, if that.

It could be something to do with the way the switch is wired and your vehicle operating with the exterior light switcheds on or off.
