Possible new 1 series owner
I just sold my e92 and I've been exploring my choices of getting a new car. I just have a few questions and was hoping you guys can help.
1. Where is the best place to buy a front lip for the e82? Furthermore, what lip do you guys prefer? 2. Springs or Coils? 3. Where can I get amber delete kit for the front headlights? Is it an easy process to remove? 4. Would my 19X9.5 19X10 VB3's fit? Worried about rubbing issues etc. Fender roll? Camber? 5. Do the 135's have the same mod as the e92 where you can unplug a certain wire in the trunk which deepens the exhaust tone? 6. Overall, how fun is it to drive a 135? The reason I want one is because they are powerful, simple, and tasteful with a few mods. Thanks ahead of time.

#5 Yes, you can unplug the muffler flap (wire) or you can unplug the hose and plug it with a golf-tee. Both keep the 2nd tailpipe open all the time and make it sound a little more masculine up until when it would open anyway. #6 It is fun. Not Lotus Exige fun, but then, not the hassle either. I had a 2003 350z Touring a while ago...About the same level of fun (Steering less 'heavy') but without all of the suspension quirks the 350z had. Turbo(s) are transparent in stock form (You can't really feel lag) but if you tune it then you will feel the lag more because the snail(s) aren't limited to 8psi anymore so it takes them a bit longer to get to 12 (or higher) psi.

The 335 seemed like the 328 with about 60 hp + but still drove like a sedan. I decided to look for more of a sports car drive and feel, so I searched for an e46 M3 or 135i. There were a couple e46s available but I decided I don't and won't have a lot of garage time to spend working on the car. So, I chose the 135i once I found one and test drove it. Unlike others, my 135i has not had any issue so my garage time at this point have been upgrades, not repair jobs.
Once I retire I will buy an older model M3 or M5 to refurbish , but my next car will be an e92 M3 once my daughter graduates. Good luck
