Deployment Special - brand new '13 1 series
Just returned stateside from my 3rd trip (& last!) 'trip' to the 'Stan, and got myself a special treat this time... a special priced BMW 128i for deployed service members, as advertised in Stars & Stripes (MSP Auto Sales). Bonus was getting a 2013 model under 2012 price. After a total of 4 deployments, I consider this the final consolidated prize. Just a base model, wanted to keep it simple... for now. Black coupe w auto trans (no xtra charge), and no other special options.
Will post photos as soon as the administrator allows under this forum. Still just a newbie. |

Am able to post photos now, so here's a few I've taken. Unfortunately, got some water spots yesterday after parking it temporarily outside the res, when the sprinklers apparently ran overnight. Getting that washed. Hard water around here wrecks havoc on cars.

Congrats on the new car and returning safe from your deployments. I did two in Iraq and one in Afghan before I bought myself my 2013 135. Stationed in Germany currently so I get to have some fun on the autobahn before I get out of the military and head back to Texas.

Welcome home! What a great gift with the distinction of owning one of the last great naturally aspirated inline cylinder engines made by BMW. Please be incredibly cautious driving for the first couple of months. Statistically your most at risk during this period.
BTW love the steering wheel!
