DCT gearbox

why is it when u in sport mode the gear changes are very harsh, will this kill the box in the long run ?
in normal mode changes are smooth ..
also when slowing down box seems a bit confused & hear a cluckle sound !!

I Love The Way Sounds When Slowing Down And You Hear The Down Shifts With Sport On . Also Somtimes It Seems The Dct Is Kinda Confused At Certin Speeds
