I love RED but...ummm...if this is really the shade then this is really horrid.

I agree. I think the new Space Gray with that Coral Red leather would be a beautiful combination!

I think that the coral red is a little too much for a BMW. Dark red just seems better suited on a super car like Ferrari or Lamborghini. They need to give an in-between interior color option like CINNAMON.

D'oh!! Thanks. Well, I'm not normally into aluminium, but it looks better with red I think. The small trim bits look better anyway, the large aluminium pieces still look a bit odd to me.

I went back and forth but again- without having seen the gray poplar- especially with red in the flesh I went with the aluminum.

I'd agree as well, I love red but the interior here...just doesn't appeal to me. It may set off the interior in a wrong way. I'd still like to see it in person to reserve final judgement.

I also matched it up with my dad's 650i with Chateau leather. A lot brighter but similar texture. So basically the color is between Imola and Chateau...being a LOT closer to Imola.
Straz, Thanks for your comments on Coral Red. Did you have an opportunity to see any other leather samples ? I am interested in receiving any feedback on Saddle Brown. Also, did you see any actual paint samples, like Space Grey ? You are apparently the first person ( outside BMW circles) who has seen actual samples, so any information you can provide would be welcome.

The coral red will look great. It look great because they did not overdo it with the red. There is still plenty of black on the interior.
