Akrapovic Midpipes

Hi guys,

I recently ordered the slip on Akrapovic exhaust and was assured by my dealer that I can order the midpipes at a later date when I plan to also add the downpipes and a tune. I'm just wondering now if I got the right information from the dealer because I cannot find anywhere on the internet where the midpipes are sold outside of the evolution system.

Anyone know for sure if I can buy the Akrapovic midpipe separate?

Thanks.

Honestly haven't seen it, but just email the dealers and see? Otherwise, there are other alternatives including the N55 mids that does the same job.

You cannot. One of my complaints about Akra, you cannot do it in 2 stages. Either Slip-on or Evo, but you cannot do Slip-on and at a later date do Evo.

Same goes for tips (buying a system without either of the two options), but a couple of people at least have been able to do it, so I guess you can try your luck on the midpipe.

You certainly have your way with Akra ordering a-la-cart.

The several dealers I tried when making my decision told me it was impossible, in fact one forwarded me the response from Akra themselves stating just that! The midpipes don't even have a price per se or cataloguing number, while the tips do (though was told the part # is just for inventory purposes).

Valves yes, those you can buy a la carte any time, ditto for the DPs.
