Leather interior Pictures please.

I hope people like this thread. Only interior pictures please. I will search around and add to get the ball rolling.

This will make it alot easier then searching through many exterior pictures.

If you see any seams in the lower side bolsters, its leather. Leatherette is smooth and seamless.

If anybody has interior pictures of leatherette, PLEASE post, but identify as leatherette. And as above stated, leather has seams in the seats, where leatherette does not.

Jeff - both cars identified as having gray interiors are actually Taupe interiors (LWA5). The 'beige' is technically Savannah Beige (a two-tone). What the US market calls Taupe is known as 'Beige' in other markets. The BMW gray (Alaska Gray) is actually quite 'blue'.

Sorry but the post of the Ti Silver conv is grey. The owner posted his pic's and says its Ti silver with grey interior. I don't know what else to say about that.

I thought this would be a great thread for everybody, not one for arguing.

Plus on the Ti silver conv you can see the seams on the lower side bolsters. The leatherette (Taupe) doesn't have seams.

I think this thread is a great idea. I haven't figured out what color car/leather/trim combo I want yet. This should be a great place to look at combinations of the three.

If you look at both pictures of the grey interiors, the lower side bolsters have seams in them, the leatherette Taupe doesn't have seams on the lower side bolsters.

The lighting and camera settings do change things. No biggie.

So - find us a good 'taupe' picture - I think there's one floating around in one of the SGM threads. Try a search on 'plumbers putty'. ; -)

I am hoping people will now take alot of interior pics with the exterior color showing for contrast. I had a VERY hard time searching through the sticky color threads.

I am also on a FENCE on interior color for an Alpine 135i.

Now you know why it's almost indistinguishable from gray in photos. ; -)

Great thread, BTW. Thanks for doing this Jeff!

Now that I look at the Taupe pictures I see seams in the lower side bolsters? I don't get it. The pic's I have seen with black leatherette have no seams. I now have to go search for black leatherette again, I will be back brother and some sisters.

Your welcome atr hugo.
I think newbies will love this.
