Calming the reflection from the dash?
I don't see much talk about this and I know it isn't that bad. But it's there.
I know what to do with the binnacle (I think that's what you call it) that covers the gauge cluster. Turn that into a 1M clone with a nice Alcantra (sp?). But what about the rest of the dash? Anyone ever done a 'flocking' to it? pictures (pretty please) I fear to even ask but is removing the dash a big time consuming job, or can it be done in an hours time or so? |

Lightly tint the windshield if you can. Also eliminates all issues with off-gassing sticking to the inside of windshield.

I use Sonax dashboard cleaner, leaves a matt finish and I don't have a glare problem.

Polarized sunglasses go a long ways. You don't want sunglasses in every situation of course, but on those days when the reflection is particularly bad I find are the same days it's sunny and I don't mind them.
Covering what's over the gauge cluster alone should go a long ways as well, seeing as it's right in front of you, a decent distance away from the base of the windshield, etc. |
