E93 M3 Front Sway on 2011 135i?
has anyone done this?
i just put mine on yesterday afternoon. No problem with the install. But later that night I was getting knocking noise from the front when going over large bumps/speed bumps when the suspension compresses. My mechanic said it might be hitting the control arm but wont have time to take a look until tomorrow. Anyone else getting the same problem? I am assuming the 2011s have the same chassis and suspension, etc. |

Read something on another thread about someone getting knocking noises, turns out the bar was actually installed backwards or not in the right direction or something..are you using aftermarket links or stock?

hmmm.....did you get the right upper and lower M3 bushings? Get under the car and double check all of your part #'s. Check all the bolts....etc. Let us know what you find.

31352283968 and 31352283967. they fit ok and the top bushing clicks/snaps into place on the bracket just fine. i'll check the bolts to make sure they are tight. i'll check to see if there are any wear spots to see where the bar is knocking..... |

Well the reason i said about installing it backwards is if its knocking, thats either the bar hitting something (which would mean backwards install), or the endlinks are loose.
