Have you driven an R?

Ohlins adjustable suspension and polymer coils plus great recaro pole position seats mean that is a myth.

I had heard the same thing and was pleasantly surprised by how well it rode.
Probably smoother than the 135i which was also running Ohlins.

Gotta agree with Alpine. While i dont own one, a good mate has a white one which ive driven a few times. Personally, the engine doesnt excite me at all, take an N54 any day of the week, but man... the handling of this thing is exceptional and it rides really really well given this. Its a stand out in this field for sure. Nice trick diff too.

My Trophy-R is more compliant than my old135i with KW clubsport by a long short. Sure it's not going to be as luxurious as a car with adaptive damping like say my F80, but then again you don't want that in a car like the trophy-R. It's raw, it's minimalist, and it's fun. I love the combination of the intake and exhaust raw over 5000rpm on RS mode.

I sold my Renault only because of the crappy service , it took them three weeks to order parts under warranty on various occasions and Nissan basically runs the show. Loved driving the car, but at the end of the day I need a car on the road not in the workshop. Providing everything runs fine, you're in for a treat.

That is what I dread too. But I don't plan to keep the car long so should be ok. And it's not exactly like its my primary car.
