could someone explain why all the roundels and ///M are covered?

first of all...its obvious its a BMW, and thats its a 1 series
secondly...the car has already been "officially" released

Love the Valencia Orange! And I think the US-headlights are nicer than the european ones

I know people say it doesn't look that bad in person, but the wheel gap on the front just looks huge in every single photo I've seen.

Because the car you see is a pre-production model and in this case even a US-model. I guess BMW doesn't want people photographing the car in this stage because people would assume it's the final product. So you'll notice with help of the covered badges that there is something different than final.

Love it. Can't say I'm a fan of the diffuser and exhaust tail pipe position/size ratio. Does anyone know of any modifications in this area ... possibly larger tailpipe ends?

I personally think they look great in those profile pics. If the 19"s are lightweight, I think the bigger the better!

Great pics - thanks for sharing. The wide flared fenders look so damn good in person. Needs a drop and it'll look perfect. I like BSM!

In these pictures VO looks very red. The black looks boring... Looks like a regular 135.

I don't think they do. Actually, if you look at the youtube video's of the daytona pace car next to it's big brother (M3), it appears that they are almost the same size (body).... The wheels look just the right size on the M3. As does on the 1M...
