Methyl Nonyl Ketone - Keep the dogs and cats away from my precious

Has anyone used any products with methyl nonyl ketone to keep the dogs and cats away from the car? I really need something that works and won't damage my cars paint or wheels.

Id use it if available. Imagine the scratches from animals that sit on your warm hood on a cold night.

Nope, its methyl nonyl ketone. My cousin has a bottle of the stuff, but I'm too scared to put it on my car. It works though, keeps the dogs away from urinating on his walls of his house...

On the rare instance the car in the driveway, only when making a quick pit stop after being out-n-about, the hood gets opened to both evacuate some engine bay heat and keep the neighbor's cat off the hood.

Wish I could lift the wheels up or something to stop the dogs... Maybe I should just take cardboard boxes around with me and cover the wheels up everytime

Buy a fake fire hydrant. Maybe they will prefer that.

Would a cover help? or is there a way to spread that around the car instead of on the car?

Don't think the cover would help, my car is parked in a garage all the time at home. It's only when I go out (mainly to my girlfriends house) it happens, I don't think a car cover will be the best idea. But spraying around the car could actually work... Wonder why I never thought of that

Thanks
