LOL. "Red mist" does not refer to fluid being sprayed from a car, but to
a feeling of extreme competitiveness or anger that temporarily clouds one's judgment.

HAHA! in all the times that I've been at the track, I've never really heard it put in that term before. i like your version better.

I was instructing at a Trackday yesterday and was on a flyer with a student. I came out of turn 9 pretty well and had a run going on the 1M down the front straight, but the group was intermediate so we're supposed to be using point by's, but he wasn't going to give me one. I ended up having to run him down and pass him into the braking zone at the end of the straight on the inside. Nothing too crazy but I felt bad for not waiting for a point by if I scared him.

Too bad I didn't have video
