How much have you spent on cleaning supplies?
Between the Microfiber towels, EagleOne products, Zaino products and shipping I've spent a little over $300 for my E90. Yeah, it got a little out of hand. And to be honest, I keep buying more stuff too.

I find new cleaning products almost every day online that sound great and I feel like I just have to buy one to try it out. Haha. |

I must confess, I haven't spent much. I'm too busy and too lazy at this time in my life to spent a lot of time on my car. I do wash it once a week, wipe the wheels off every day and have it detailed by a friend that's an expert about every 90 days though. I'm learning to live with and love my Jet Black E90!

Here is my list of cleaning supplies:
-Klasse Concours Kit (AIO, SG, microfiber applicator pads and and buffing cloths): $45 -terry cloth and microfiber towels (to remove the wax): ~$20 -Wash Mitt and Wheel/Tire brush: $10 -Meguires Auto Shampoo and Tire Dressing: $5-10 -"The Absorber": ~$5 Overall, I came in under $100. The amazing thing is that I have been using this Klasse Kit for 6 years and I probably still have a couple more years left in the bottles.

I'd have far less if I wasn't doing detailing on the side as a business.

Up to $450
Today alone I bought $45 worth of cleaning supplies at AutoZone, $20 on WheelWax online and $89 at GriotsGarage.com. So here's how it breaks down: $45 at AutoZone $55 at Advanced Discount Auto Parts $109 at Zaino $20 at WheelWax $89 at GriotsGarge $39 at California Car Cleaners --- and the duster I got left streaks all over my car --- WTF!!!!!!??!??!?! $25 at AutoVisuals $24 at Detailers Paradise $58 at Microfiber Tech = $464 spent on cleaning supplies And this is all within the past 120 hours. Somebody help me!!!! Hahaha. |

Part of the cost issue is the perishable nature of certain products like the polishes, sealants, pads, tire dressings etc. Almost makes you want to get into the detailing product supply business!!! |

Over $600 and climbing. Biggest expenses so far: MF towels (around 20-30), lots of Poorboys products (love that S&W), the PC, and of course tons of other bottled products.
I'd like to think however that I recouped most of my investment by buffing out lots of scratches on my truck before I traded it in for the 325. I think it definitely made the paint job look $500 better. And keeping everything on the 325 in tip-top condition should help my resale value in a few years. |

My first post here - topic kind of caught my attention. I guess it's cheating since I'm a detailer, but if I had to guess I'd say ~$6,000 *this year*.
