What is the benefit to read the boost? Say you are on track.

NOPE!

Still has the same amount of airflow, and you can still direct the air up/down/left/right just as if the gauge was not there!

Zero interference!

On a track?

Same reason you have other gauges... to make sure you car is running properly.. or in the case, make sure your turbos are boosting to the desired PSI set by your tune.... or even on a stock car, make sure everything is good and boost leak free.

I can't tell you how many times people say "my car doesn't feel as fast" , or "it feels like I am down on power"... or even, "I just uploaded XX new tune, feels faster!"

My first question to any of those people would be... How much boost are you making? Its an instant way to see how aggressively your turbo car is tuned.

Hi,

Great product!

I'll also need the RHD version.

I have a Stett charge pipe and Forge diverter valves - will it still fit?

Cheers

This has me psyched! I assumed 60-90 minutes and was dreading getting lines through the firewall... But it sounds like the whole thing is a piece of cake. Great work!

X2. I'm not planning on keeping my car more than another 6-9 months, so the installation time may be the deciding factor as to whether or not I get one of these. If it's <30 minutes to install, I'm all over it.

I did the "line through the firewall" part in literally 30 seconds on 2 cars last week... this car is the easiest car I have ever run a vacuum line through on... SO easy.

I use about a 12 inch long peice of coat-hanger, tape the line to it, shove it through the rubber grommet that BMW put on the car for us (I guess they knew I would use it! ) , and then pull it through... BAM! done.

Looks like a great product, especially if the install is an easy DIY job. Is there a Group Buy offered or 1Addicts special pricing? If one were to place an order now, when can we expect delivery?

Yes, its a 30-40min DIY install... I can do it in about 5-10 minutes.

New orders are shipping within 10-14 days.

No special pricing, BUT... all pre-orders get the unit pre-installed in an OEM vent... a $42 value for the vent alone!...

Pre-orders are shipping throughout the next 2 weeks. 5 units are going out tomorrow night.

As mentioned before... as a "thanks for waiting" gesture... all pre-orders will receive the unit pre-installed in an OEM 135i vent! a $42 cost! And a time-saver when it comes to installation.

#1 Boost Guage

Hi Guys!
I just have a quick question. I love the clean OEM look of the air vent boost guage. My question is whether it will show the level of boost in my 135i since I only have the JB+ and not the JB3? Thanks!

Of course!

We are using it on our stock car!

No tune required... and also works with ALL flashes, piggybacks, t-map tuners (jb+ and sstt) etc, etc, etc!

The gauge is a complete stand-alone solution.

Mine's on order. great product! . I couldn't believe there wasn't a OEM boost gauge when i first looked at theses cars. I appreciate the gauge color matching and profession approach.

Do it right or don't do it at all!!

Can you comment on the install? Or maybe you got it pre-installed with the 135i vent already included? Looks great.

Any pics of how you can toggle/tell between JB3 maps? Wonder what the display reads.
