my fronts look pretty good still, and could go 15k
my rears did not make it to 10k, they are almost slicks now great tires, just a little too fast for wear for my commute now

You must be driving like a hooligan. I got 17000km on mine and 3 full day auto x events and I am just touching the wear bars.

I found that with the V12s you get what you pay for. The rears were slicks after 8,000 miles and the outer tread blocks on the fronts where worn pretty bad. I now have 11,000 miles on my PSSs and the rears are just about to hit the wear bars. The PSS fronts will probably last as long as a new set of rears. Keep in mind that I live in South Florida where the conditions are pretty hard on tires (i.e. High heat + shell rock in the asphalt). In addition, I was never really impressed with the wet or dry traction of the V12s. And while the initial cost of PSSs seem more expensive, the cost per mile seems to be equivalent to the V12s. Consider this and the fact that you get twice the grip and you'll begin to understand why most people love the PSSs.

If you plan on tuning your car don't go with the Hankooks. TBH they are terrible for grip in anything other than a stock car. Michelins PSS are the best tires for our cars.

I had hankooks last summer. They gripped very well in the wet, decent in the dry, and they lasted me from april til october, maybe 10K miles. When I took them off, the rears were barely useable. They also felt mushy to drive on.. didn't give good feedback. 6/10 as a whole, 9/10 for the price, good for being on a budget, but there are better tires out there.
For a budget tire, I'm liking my current yokohama s.drives better. They seem to be lasting a bit longer too. Most people on this forum will steer you towards PSS or RE-11 but another tier up in price.

Summer tire?
Good ones I have tried are Kumho Ecsta SPT and Sumitomo HTR Z III. Haven't been pleased with much else in the Summer categories. All Season is another matter though.
