Battery removal

I was wondering if there is anything special i should know about removing the battery for winter storage ??

dont remove it, just use a battery tender. my dealer told me not to remove it because of all the car electronics .

he recommended the ctek intelligent battery charger from canadian tire (i see you are from montreal). it cost 80$ but i got on sale 50% for 40$

fyi my dealer is park avenue bmw.

++1. Get a trickle charger like the CTEK unit.
