I've did it two years again and am doing it again. If you have the time and patience, it is the only way to buy a BMW IMHO.
I would say that even if there were no financial benefits. |

On the 3 series (and X3 before that), we saved around 11% off MSRP - which paid for a big chunk of vacation. In addition to the Lufthansa deal. It was fabulous, I plan to do it again next year for the 1 series - hopefully by that time there will be the usual 7% discount (with ED cars no longer coming from dealer allocations).

A minimum of 7%. Right now that is about what you will get but once the ED allocation appears you will be able to get as much as 15%.

That is because all cars come from the normal North American dealer's allocation. So at this time, all you can get is whatever discount the dealer is willing to give you, plus the Lufthansa 2-4-1 deal should you choose to go that way.

I ordered in March and got 1k over ED invoice so it's possible to get deals.
With that being said, the first dealership I went to was only offering me ED MSRP. So if they're telling you that there's no discount, find another dealer.

So right now if the dealer is willing to do ED, you get at least 7% off and if you get the right dealer you can get closer to 15% off. Once there is an ED allocation then most of the sales will be based off of ED Invoice, or it will at least be easier to find a dealer willing to negotiate from ED Invoice instead of ED MSRP.

So did you get that price from your dealer without having to pick up in Munic?
