Motorsport Stripes on a VO 1M?
My one reservation with getting VO was that I love the M-stripes on a white car. Has anyone thought of a way to do some subtle Motorsport striping on a VO car? Anyone with mad photoshop skills care to give it a run? The steering wheel has M-stitching, the rest of interior has orange stitching, so the car's a bit of a mess anyway! How about a windshield header film?

Ive ordered AW and considering a subtle stripe, on the driver fender or below door maybe. Very small.
I think it works on black as well.....On VO? My gut says 'no' - just my opinion though. Your car.

I think the only way you could do this and have it look anywhere near decent would be to do some grey striping. I can't find the thread now, but someone replaced the rear M badge with a grey version.
Putting the real M stripes on a VO sounds hideous to me.

Its the only reason I did not want VO, I think AW with the correct stripes looks great.
VO works GREAT with the grey but those arent really M stripes |

funny observation about this picture, the 2002 turbo. See how the fenders are riveted? Its almost like they crammed a smaller body onto a larger chassis - frankenstein-ed' the body/fenders to fit on top of some monster powerplant and chassis.
Well, some may remember when the 1M mule had riveted fenders?? M-division was early on in the body remodeling process. Almost like they crammed the smaller 1er body onto some monster chassis (uummmm... M3?). I was almost hoping they would keep those riveted fenders on the 1M - it would have been grungy-mean. Edit: here is one of the mule pix. From 2009 no less. Specualtion back then from Marcelb was that it mayhave Z4idrive N54 with about 340hp. Nice.
