135 Exhaust Tips

Hi All

Somehow i have managed to lose one of the black crome exhaust tips! Does anyone have one lying around they want to offload? BMW want $93 for one. Apparently the left and right ones are the same.

Anythoughts on buying from the US or will the post outweigh the saving. Who would i contact?

Car getting a few warranty items looked at next week too so will try and claim under this too.

$93 that's not to bad from BMW Australia. Shouldn't this be a warranty issue anyway?

You must of done a few hard acceleration runs to make it fall off

I lost mine as well on my E92

Cost me around the same from my friendly stealer!

I just paid it and didn't try claim warranty but on the E92 (323, 325) the two tips are different so double check that this isn't the case with the 135i.

BMW said this never happens, so I wrote to Germany and they replaced it (amongst other things)

If you need to take comfort in it, just think of the Celica driver who's bangling around the Northern Beaches with a set of 'inherited' black chrome tips over his tiny fart holes.
