all clean after the snow

So I spent new years in VT skiing and we got about 6 inches of fresh powder.

Ski conditions were great, but even better was how the 1 handled in the snow. I am have blizzak LM- 25's and asa ar2's (18inch) from Gill at tire rack.

On inclines, slush on the highway, packed snow, fresh powder i just plowed thru. I got lots of surprised looks and complients when i came thru parking lot at killington. Everyone was asking if it was AWD etc...

All in all i am very pleased with the 1 in the snow and the fold down seats...great summer and winter car!

Sorry no before pics...
but all cleaned up

I wish I could get mine clean. It's been almost 3 weeks of snow here which seems to be the norm now.

BTW, I have ASA AR2's. The lip sure catches a ton of dirt doesn't it?

We had a warm day last week... so I spent the day cleaning up my baby.. and got to throw on a fresh coat of wax.

Izzo.. car looks great. But you need to take a class in framing a photo!! Why are all your pics on 45* angles!!!

glad to hear 1er did well near the slopes. I'll be headed to WV in a few weeks. Hoping for some decent snow, be sure to take plenty of snow pics with all the racks and equip strapped on.

Looking Good, Izzo!! I meant to head up to Stowe for a couple of days while I had 3 weeks off during the holidays, and opted to be one of the laziest bastards on the South Shore of Boston. Felt incredible doing it too.

izzo, I see you are in NYC but with a NJ plate, where do you get your car washed? I'm avoiding the "drive thru" ones with the brushes and looking for a touchless. My jet black 1er looks alpine white with all the salt and the rims gun metal from all the brake dust.

haha good eye... well as you can see i find random places to hose off and wash it down

I avoid all drive thru car washes especially the ones in nyc, luckily i have family in nj and i just come by for dinner and a visit and a wash about twice a month!

living in nyc makes it pretty hard to keep the car clean

the sti was a beast in the snow and i loved the AWD but my mileage was horrible...always sub 20mpg...where as the 1 is always 24+mpg.

I am still very confident in the 1 in the snow
