Question External Lighting System Failure

Well this is an interesting failure. My right blinker has decided to double time it while my left blinker is unaffected. Both blinkers go at the normal speed when the hazards are turned on.

Any idea whats broken so I can fix it cheaply and easily?

Check the right front. On my ford when the lights blinked double-time like that it meant a light on that side of the car was out. You're rear works fine, but I'd check the front.
It also could be your break lights on that side, doesn't necessarily mean it was the indicator light.

All the blinkers work fine. I just shot the rear because it was easiest for the video.

I restarted the car and now everything is fine though...

I have read the car will throw the code when the bulb is about to fail, not necessarily once it has failed. Something about the bulb beginning to resist less or more or whatever it does might be your case

it is definately a light bulb issue. the indicator on the instrument panel indicates that. I would recommend changing them one at a time until you find the culprit. Jsut because they are all working doesnt mean that they are drawing the right amount of current to make the blinker work normally. Also did you change to LED bulbs anywhere? Side marker, front turn, back turn etc.

The hazard is a different circuit.

On one car I've onwed in the past (don't recll which one) this happened and I checked from and back of the vehicle and all the signal lights looked fine. But turns out there were a couple bulbs for each signal light (one for the front or back and one for the side) and it was one of the side bulbs that was out. It was hard to notice just looking quickly.
