Thanks for your reply. Does this mean the blue tints can't be purchased?

If they can, any info on what brand makes em good?

Thanks a bunch onesixeight !

I got my tint done 3 days after i received my car. Well, that was almost a month ago, and i still have a couple bubbles in the back passenger window. I bought the $$ tint, cause it was supposed to be the best one, and the shop i took it to was also supposed to be the "best". So whatttttttt the F?! My tint has a lifetime guarantee, but what about the installation. The guy who did it seemed like a asshole, so i dont know if he'll give me crap about it, or make up some lame excuse.. OH YEA, he also scratched the window (its small, but I KNOW where its at) ..?...

I did nine 2 days after I picked it up. I have a small bubble in the rear also. It is a hard window to do perfect. The size, shape, and dots make it hard.

You can purchase blue tint film, but I don't think it will come anywhere close to the MB glass. The MB glass isn't any darker than the non-sport cars and just a matter of how they glaze the glass. Sort of like how you can order prescription glass with a slight blue tinge.

You can see the glass of my E55 in this picture. It's more like a blueish hue in the glass and not really a tint film.

NIce car

I love the fact that the MB glass is not acutally darker and the fact thats it is not a tint. I was hoping I could create the effect using tints. But, like u said, it will not look near as good the the MB's glaze...so down the drain with this idea...

Thanks a bunch though

You get $80 tint at the auto part store.

Seriously though I hope you got a good gaurantee with that. It's hot as hell here in AZ so I went for the quality stuff with a high heat rejection, 72% total solar rejection. Thats as good as those $600 jobs where they use the film from commercial buildings but mine was only $200

I just got my tint done this past weekend at Lorenzo Tint in the bronx. They did an excellent job. I went 70% in the front windshield for UV protection, 20% for the front side mirrors, 15% on the rear side mirrors, and 5% in the rear windshield mirrors. I will post pictures soon.

Mine are 20 all around but I think that I am going to go 15. I'll take some pics as soon as I wash the car.

Where in Northern Jersey are you? If you don't mind taking a drive to the Bronx - I recomend Lorenzo Tint. Plan on leaving your car there. He does tint for a lot of high end cars.

Thanks for the suggestion! Lorenzo has a sick website and his work looks great. I'll definitely check him out when my car arrives in a couple weeks.

Thanks again.

Question Legal limit for tint in boston?

Just curious to know if tinting the windows in Boston is feasible? Everyone I asked, doesn't really seem to know. Much thanks.
