2010 135i AW/CR first and prolly las photoshoot
Well, this is my first post on here but have been reading 1addicts from 5 months now when I got interested on the 135i. Prior to this I had a 2007 Audi A3 with all posible equipment in my country wich I'll post som pics later.
Long story short, after reading countles threads and posts, 3 months ago I decided to buy the 135i ASAP to get the N54 engine, But I was specifically looking for the AW/CR combo and wouldn't settle for less. Luckily, my dealer had one EXACTLY like that, but didnt had iDrive but it was the only way i would get that combo with the N54 at the times of the year (weeks prior to the release of the 2011 N555 engine). So I got the car eventough didnt had iDrive, I had big plans for the cars (notice im talking in past sense..) Was planning ong oigng JB3 w/full bolt-ons... Here are the only photos I tooked of the car in my garage, 1 week ago, after installing de CF trunk spoiler from BMW Perf. As TODAY, I have (had) the car for exactly 2 months, and 4,400 kilometers (don't really know miles, sorry). So enough talking, here are the few photos Feeling naughty?... |

So, yes, past tense... Did you sell the car? Trade it for something else? Or just decide to keep it stock?

So now the downside of this cinderelly story...Today, at exactly 1 54 am in the morning after a good bottle of wine and a carpaccio, headed back to home, with an amazing rain falling down...Little I knew what expected me 5 blocks from the restaurant...
Its no secret that in my city the flooding of the streets is as common as seeing a civic with 200000 kelvin xenons.. So in a turn with a little steep, there was a large "pond" covering the whole avenue, i mean, 6 lanes... I guessed it wouldnt be that deep, and i was not it time to brake or didnt had time to react, so I went ahead quite slow i think ( 40 km/h) to try to avoid any hazard, But aparently it was a little bit deeper and a little wave created by the front of the car lifted the water, wich I suspect caused those liters of waters and all sort of branches we found on my air intake box, and the car shut down 15 meters after. 4 cars that were also circulating got stuck at the same time, including a big football-mother toyota sienna... I had nothing to do but tu ask my GF to get in the drivers position while I got out tho the flooded street (10 centigrades of temperature and raining friggin hard) to push the car forward were it would be less deep. After waiting 2 hours or the insurance an the tow, we took the car to the dealer and left it there. Got home at 4 30 am. Today as soon as I woke up, I headed to the dealer only to know that it probably will be total loss... Monday I'll know for sure. So, end of story, if you have any questions, doubts or whtvr is, just say haha. |

I think is important to say, it wasnt dramatic at all, its not like the water went as high as the windows or over the hood, still cant believe that little wave did all this damage. |
