Very nice indeed. How are those seats comfort-wise?

Love the AW with the performance wheels.

The seats are a bit stiffer but they have the right suport in the right places so they were quite good in did:thumbup:

They look harder but in day to day bases they give you better side suport with the right amount of confort

Looks great, but I'm curious, would a 135i have been cheaper?

Those brakes are :eyebulge:, perhaps overkill for a d? Nice car anyways! :headbang:

Not in Portugal we pay taxes for cc and CO emissions

The base price for a 135i in Portugal is 57500EUR about 88550 USD and the base price for a 123d is 40500EUR about 62370 USD with no extras

I´ve got the Performance parts very cheap directly from Germany and my car with all the parts and with the discount was cheaper than a base 135i besides than I make a lot of kms (miles) per year and the average consumption of the 123d is a lot less than a 135i and the fuel is very expensive in Portugal

I know you still don´t consider diesel in the states but the car does very easy 245 kmh and about 7 sec´s till 100 kmh (62 MPH)

The CO emissions for this car is 138g/km for a 135i is 220g/km Efficient Dynamics rules

I know that having a flat 6 with 306 HP is great but in terms of chassi and suspension and gadgets namelly the Electronic LSD my car is ecqual to a 135i

Here is my power graphic in a test done yestarday

And I thought Belgium was expensive! The base price of a 123D here is EUR 28k. Of course I then have to pay horsepower tax of EUR 2,500 on top but still... Very glad to see your dyno test. None of the performance parts increase your power do they? And yet, it still managed 320 Ftlb of torque! Supposedly it only has 295 Ftlb (400Nm).

I beleive the wheels do a little diference in WHP

My car delivered 172 Wheel Horse Power

A friend who has one with stock 18" wheels delivered 165 WHP at the same test bench at the same day and conditions

I am awaiting for my chip tuner to have his EDC17 chip tuning machine ready and try to put 260 HP and 500 Nm´s in the car than I post here the test

Awesome car. One just like it has been sitting on display at the Welt. I could not stop looking at it when I was there. Maybe some day we will be allowed to buy the 123D.
I drove along the southern shore of Portugal last year on vacation. You live in a beautiful country...

It really sucks in Canada that we dont get to order the body kits from the factory but then I guess the price you folks pay isnt fair either..oh well we all have our own pain..

Yeah, too bad about the costs there - ouch.
I wonder how BMW would price that car in the states? Would a 123d be more or less than a 128i? What's the fuel economy?

Thanks a lot guys

The cars in Portugal are really expensive so is the fuel, because of that diesel cars are the most popular you can find 20 335d for one 335i and 100 123d for 1 135i but I beleive if you guys can get the 335d and the 123d we would for sure like it

The 123d can get a combined fuel consumption of 5,2 lts for 100 kms the 135i does it for 9,2 lts the diesel in Portugal is cheaper than the gasoline but never the less you pay 1,3 EUR (2,00 USD) for liter of diesel and 1,4 EUR (2,15 USD) for liter of 95 octane gasoline, the 98 octane is 1,45 EUR

So if you do 40000 kilometers per year as I normally do, you will spend 2704,00 EUR (4.164,16 USD) in the 123d and 5.152,00 EUR (7.934.08 usd) in the 135i -> that´s FUEL ECONOMY

Here is the data for the models avalaible in Europe for the E82

Note that the 123d has the same torque than a 135i:thumbup:
