Would be nice to know who makes it and to see a picture of it installed.

An actual 1M bumper? Or a rep? Kerscher makes a pretty good replica, believe Dmacc is running that without problems.
Also check out Venom and Ilikebmxbike's 1M conversion threads, they had the work custom fabbed. Turned out pretty sick.

Lol i totaled my 1 series awhile back and had it rebuilt, no engine damage, but front bumper was dunzo.... Asked my mechanic to order the 1m front bumper in which he was able to but there was too much trimming and what not to do to get a good flush fit so i had it sent back to get the OEM 135 bumper. Should have kept it

No amount of trimming will fit a OE 1M front bumper cover on a 135i without front fenders and rocker panel work.
That being said, the OP is talking about a replica designed for the 135i (think Kerscher or DTM but in PU instead of FRP etc)

it looks like that rep is set up for a 128 anyway, there are coolers that would be covered by the fog light assembly
you could always leave that part out, but you're still going to have those clips to deal with |

So that bumper is out. DTM is even questionable. Ive narrowed it down to Reiger or Kerscher. Reiger seems to have 2 versions of their bumper. I dont like the one with the slats. Reiger is ABS plastic and its cheaper. Anyone know how fitment is with Reiger?

I dont know the fitment on the Reiger but I have seen @Dmacc 's car with the Kerscher and can vouch it is very well done. It looks very good and fitment looks OEM quality on his car.

http://www.esetuning.com/category-s/13613.htm that's the company everyone is using to grab the Rieger parts. I personally ordered the rear skirt from them and it was a problem-free process. |
