Procede v2 announced!

Dunno if anyone else follows the tuning scene for the 335i but I've been following its development closely since the options will probably be the same for the 135i

Anyways, for anyone following procede, v2 was just announced -- http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...80#post1349480

More power!!!

I'll let ya all know how big the diff is between v2 and v1 in about two weeks.

If it's half as much power as the dyno's are showing, I will be happy. I think well be hitting 370 whp with just procede and TBE.

I emailed them about 2 months ago. No answer here either. I love the way they treat inquiring potential customers.

Unfortunately, it is the same way the R56 Cooper S. They announced they were working on one 4 months ago and havent answered anything for the last 2 months.

Stuff like that angers me. They should be quiet until they have something in at least the final stages. There are so many people out there waiting for these N54's to blow up. Its not been proven that they're as bulletproof like the Evo and STI's powerplants. But I guess time will tell. I can tell u this much, I wont be a guinea pig. I wonder if all these software tampered 335i's will bring down the resale values.

Honestly thats why i'am looking at E90post all the time to see if any of the Vishnu tuned N54's are having problems but so far reading many of there threads no problem with the V1 procede, I'm not bring down Vishnu's products I happen to have a few friends from socal DSM that loves his products and can vouch for there realibility but I'm just concered about his customer service in the long run......

Basically will it be worth it to do buisness with a company that operates like this............

I was one of the first procede users, and have had no problems. I have also contacted vishnu a few times and always received a call back quickly.

And yes, the procede WILL work on the 135i and the 335i and the 535i and almost any other car in the world.
I don't know why you guys keep posting that his service is bad, I haven't seen anything to confirm these posts about poor customer service.

Vishnu seems to only support 1 customer base at a time. As soon as something new and fancy comes along, they forget about the customers that got them where they are.

People, do you realize how many e-mails a company receives in a day? I am actually surprised when a company (let alone a small business) replies to e-mail. Get off your computer and CALL them! Surefire way to get a hold of someone!

1st are you going to upgrade to the V2?

2nd You have not seen poor customer service because you drive the "NEW HOTNESS" Im not mocking, hell when I get 135 I will most likely get vishnu V2. Like what i said i have many friends happy with his products but all of them say the support seems to go south after the next new thing comes along.

Imagine V2, DPs, full exhaust, IC, a tune, and shaving a couple hundred pounds off the car? One NICE setup

It's true I never emailed vishnu, so maybe that's where the problem is you guys are experiencing? I've always called them, I get a call back within 24hrs every time. They are growing quite fast with the n54, and I think they are having a hard time keeping up. I'm sure they will get there system down soon.

About the mods. I'm psyched!

I'm calling at least 380whp with TBE, FMIC, and procede v2 on 91 octane, add 10-15whp for 93 octane.

Also, shiv just announced that you will be able to make you own map with v2.1 (v2.0 will be out to public in 2 weeks). They way you make it is you have 16 different rpm points where you can pick 0-100% power. 0% being stock and 100% being max everything. I like this because for me I will keep in at stock power levels from 1500-3000 rpm to give the turbos longevity since 95% of our daily driving will be in this rpm range, and then max power quickly increasing from 3k-4500 and max from 4500-6700 rpm.

I've also come up with 250lbs. in weight saving mods so far. It's gonna be fun, I'm first on the list at my dealer!

I'll post an update about v2.0 when I get it in 2 weeks as well.

I will be running the car with 93 octane. Also plan on trying to setup a dyno day within 6 hours of me with Shiv to get as much out as possible . So 400rwhp is my goal.

Curious what and how have you come up with 250lbs in weight savings already?!?

Which FMIC are you goin with, Active Autowerks?

I hope to get the same numbers with the 135i and if it gives me more thats great but I was thinking of getting a V2, FMIC, Turbo back Exhaust (when available) maybe with these mods i can reach that goal aswell...............

wont all these universal tuning systems (procede, etc) not take advantage of all your extra mods (DP, FMIC, etc)? I mean, after all, the tunes werent designed for them.

you'd have to get a custom tune/map made to take advantage of your mods. some of the guys on e90post have had problems with downpipes making no (or sometimes loss of) power with procede.

I know v2 is supposed to cure cancer, but unless its designed for your specific combination of mods, it seems like it wouldnt be running as well as it could until you get a custom tune.
