N51/52 ticking noise fixed!
Took mine in since the ticking was getting quite loud.
Although it was still ticking when I picked it up. Head mechanic said.. "give it a week... it will be gone.. if not.. we can do more work on it." it's gone! |

Will check later, but they replaced some stuff. It wasn't just bleeding cuz they had so much work, they kept it overnight.

The bleeding procedure is not done anymore. The current procedure is to replace the exhaust lifters. If the ticking comes back after replacing the lifters then they replace the cylinder head.
