E91 330d Touring: Driven

Greetings,

I test drove the new E91 330d in M-Sport trim today (230bhp/500Nm torque). If you are awaiting delivery of one of these you will have an astounding beast to enjoy – the mid-range pull is remarkable, and for a diesel it sounds fabulous. The damping on the sports suspension with 18” is excellent.

It will be interesting to see a E90 330d

What is the gas mileage on these cars?

In the real world, I'm getting 39 mpg from the 320d, the 330d is probably around 36mpg.

I think a 335d is on the cards for me next year

I love BMW diesels! I testdrove a 320d and it's nice! But i've also testdriven the 535d... man what a car.. my fav 5 except for the M5 ofcourse!! But as you said the 335d.. omg that thing is gonna be awesome with pretty good gasmilage compared to other cars in the class with the same kind of performance!

Yes, the perfect car until the E91 335d comes along. And I like hula's sig with the rack gone.

Some pictures from www.mobile.de of a Titanium Silver BMW 330xi Touring with the M Package. I do like the 17" wheels and I think I like the M Package on a Titanium Silver car. However, I like the M Package better when cars are lowered. This car is even higher than standard suspension, because it's AWD.
