No, as stated it's an option. The iDrive system and navigation are the same optional package. Build you car at www.bmwusa.com

Both the premium package and the navigation system are listed on the BMW USA web site as stand alone options. I suggest that you study the site as you can find the answers your questions about availability.

By the way I have NAV and I Drive is not available without the NAV (I'm pretty sure it's a 'all in one' package). I think only the 5 series has I Drive without NAV. Might be different in Europe though.
