U.S.A. Deliveries?

I was informed today that my 1M is stateside as of 4/25! I was expecting it to arrive in 4-6 weeks but now I'm told 7-10 days. Has anyone else in the U.S.A. received information regarding a delivery date this early?

I suppose I better find some pyrat rum so I can christen my car properly!

Yes, they are being released from the VPC's on May 9.

Congrats on the early delivery. My 1m just moved into En Route on the BMW website. Does anyone know how long it takes to arrive in US once it shows En Route? My car's final destination is South Florida.

I don't have much faith in the accuracy of that system. I was told it takes 3-5 weeks "en route" but 8 days later it was in port. Not complaining by any means.

I'll have some in car video on the day I receive my car since I have to drive over a killer mountain to get home. I figured I would mount my go pro for the ride over blood mountain. Im instructing a HPDE 2 weeks after the 9th so I may drive the 1M since the race car will likely be under the knife around that time. I need to put some miles on the car quick so a few runs to the dragons tail (1 hour away) are in order.

Official date in Canada was suppose to be May 2nd, but it seems the dealers have started delivery...

I think it varies but mine was en route for 3 weeks and has now been at "Prep Center" for a week. Still no word on when it will be available at PDC for pick up...

I checked their website and price IS displayed at MSRP for both cars listed in their inventory. One AW and one BSM.

I'm sure the owners would be ecstatic to know their cars are being offered as test drives. If I saw my car listed this way I'd lose it!

How do you know the dealer is actually going to let someone test drive one of these cars?
