Paint Touchup Opinions
Guys,
I hope all is well. I have a tiny nick on the edge of my driver's side door that I would like painted over. It is really small, barely visible, but I would like to get it touched up as I am quite particular about my car. My car is jet black. How should I go about doing this? Do dealers carry the paint in small quantities for such purposes? Should I check with a bodyshop, if so how much would they charge? I would appreciate any opinions on this. Thanks. |

Since you have Jet Black, you can get any pure black touch up pen and fill it it. I also have Jet Black and used a pen for a Honda Black for exactly the same purpose, and you can't see it at all. You can also get the BMW touch up paint in Jet Black from any dealer.

x2 on Dr Colorchip, my only suggestion is to let the paint dry for at least 4 hours, it'll adhere better.
